My Fave Self-Care Products During All This Free Time

Hey Wulfgang! Long time no-see! Hope everyone is taking their self-isolation seriously. (Truly, please stay at home)

During this quarantine, I have found a lot of free time. Although I work from home, I’m getting things done quicker which is allowing me to have more time to take care of my skin & hair.

I wanted to share with you all my favorite products that have actually been a massive help in making sure my skin and hair are healthy and fresh. Hope this helps anyone who’s been looking for good product!

Let’s start with skin! I have normal skin. It’s not too dry and it’s not too oily. Depending on the weather it does change. Every now and again I get little comedones. (Little bumps under the surface of the skin, with no head) So washing my face with an exfoliant has been the best option. So here is our first fave product!

Intelligent Nutrients Refining Micro Polish.

This micro refining polish does a great job of getting all the little dead skin cells off my face! I use a little dab and make sure I get my most dry/acne prone spots first and massage it in circular motions for about 60 seconds. I rinse with Luke warm water and lay dry. Almost immediately, I start to see a difference. My skin looks brighter and is incredibly soft. Ultimate results will show in about a week! It’s a little expensive at $57 but it’s worth it! You can get your own at Intelligent Nutrient Polishing Exfoliant

Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask by The Body Shop

I’ve posted this in my 2019 faves list in December but it is still a normal fave! I use this mask about two times a week and it really helps clear out the dirt that goes into my pores. I normally wash my face, sometimes I’ll use the Refining polish exfoliant above, and I’ll apply this mask and leave it on for about 20-30 minutes. I’ll rinse with cold water and pat dry. The smell is amazing and really helps clean my skin. The price is pretty affordable at $25 ! You can get your own here Body Shop Matcha Mask

De La Cruz Viramin E Cream

This vitamin E cream is incredible. One of the only moisturizers I will EVER use. Not only is it affordable ($6 basically anywhere) but it doesn’t make me break out, it doesn’t leave me greasy and it definitely gives my skin the moisture it needs before makeup or just on a bare face! You can buy your own at Target.com, Amazon, or any Barons Market! Honestly you can’t beat it at this price!

NouNou Conditioner by Davines

Now let’s get to the hair…

As you all know, I went from black box dyed hair to blonde all by myself! I didn’t do much damage, than god. But since being blonde I have gotten my roots done professionally. I was too scared of overlapping and orange bands because my natural hair is a level 1 JET BLACK. Yikes, I know. But since were in this quarantine situation, I can’t get my hair done which has resulted in me getting rid of my own roots. (6 weeks of growth on platinum blonde hair is HARD to deal with on your own) but doing it in segments over a few days, the Davines conditioner and oil has helped me so much from drying my hair out! It’s honestly a blessing! I leave it on for about 10 minutes. Then once I rinse the conditioner off I lather my hair in some Oi Oil (from the same brand) and do my hair as usual. It’s always softer and it smells SO GOOD! It’s a little pricey compared to regular conditioner but it’s definitely necessary and worth it! Get your own atDavines

This was a quick little blog but I hope you found some insight or want to try some new product! I wouldn’t recommend anything I wouldn’t use, so you can trust my opinion if you have the same skin/hair type that I do!
